THESE THINGS ARE THE RECIPE FOR POVERTY.

This blog post is about the mindset you need to have to be a successful small business owner or self-employed individual.

A great test you can take to find out why you buy the things you do is to simply ask yourself why you like the things you like.

I can save you some time and answer that question for you. You like the things you like, because you've spent your entire life having the idea of happiness sold to you in the form of products you really don't need.

You don't need the $12 latte any more than your subscribers need your content.

Regardless, people are going to spend money on what makes them happy, or at least on things they think will make them happy.

That fact is the foundation of selling luxury products. The latte and your explicit content might not seem like they are in the same category, but trust me, they are.

They are both equally unnecessary and in high demand.

This is where the entrepreneurial way of life comes into play. If you have a basic bitch mindset, it doesn't matter how successful you are on platforms like OnlyFans. You will end up just as broke as you were before you started because you will spend all your money on things you don't need.

It's time to break that cycle.

There are essentially two types of people in the world: Buyers and Sellers.

The Buyer thinks they can create the life they want by purchasing a lot of things.

The Seller thinks they can create the life they want by selling a lot of things and using the profits to create more wealth and opportunity.

I think it's pretty obvious which one is right.

Selling is about understanding that you're solving a problem. That could be a real problem. Like selling someone a car to get to work, or it could be selling a product that makes a person happy for a short period of time.

Keep in mind, this isn't a morality lesson about what you should or shouldn't sell.

This is simply an explanation of why people buy things and how understanding this will allow you to be profitable. While avoiding falling for clever marketing that gets you to spend money on something that gives you a short-lived dopamine hit.

Let's get you off the $12 latte and start making your own coffee at home for 50 cents a cup.

A $12 latte a day is $84 a week, $364 a month, and $4,368 a year. A 50-cent cup of coffee you make at home is $3.50 a week, $15.20 a month, and $182.50 a year.

The point is, you can't be a victim of good marketing and a marketing genius at the same time.

If you want to understand how to sell your content, you have to realize there are millions of free videos online.

You better bring something unique to the table if you want to get someone's money. Your content needs to solve a problem the free videos dont.

You'll never earn money if you're just trying to get it so you can spend it on something thats unnecessary. Even if you manage to earn money, it won't matter because you'll spend it just as quickly as you make it.

Remember, the people buying your content could be using free content online. There must be a reason they're willing to spend money on yours. You job is to figure out that reason and sell it back to them. Over and over.

Your job is to figure out what subs are really looking for and what they are trying to gain from the experience of buying content.

It will be impossible for you to do that if you're in the same mindset as the sub. Just trying to get subs money so you can spend it as recklessly as they do will prevent you from reaching your goals. Unless your goals involve having no money.

This is where entrepreneurs separate themselves from the rest.

Most people, when you look around, are handing out money trying to be happy. They are delusional, and there's no point in trying to break their delusion.

Sell them the fantasy. If you don't, someone else will. We don't criticize the McDonald's employee selling the cheeseburger and fries to the 300-pound person and their fat ass children.

We don't criticize the cashier at the liquor store selling vodka to the alcoholic. It's not their job to police the actions of people.

So go ahead and figure out why some guy wants to pay for content instead of watching it for free and take their money. There are plenty of others who will if you don't.

I know this sounds harsh, but it's just the reality of living in society.

When you go out, start observing people and how they spend their money.

Start paying attention to commercials and ads, and try to figure out the idea they are using to sell the product.

The most obvious manipulation is in drug commercials. The problem the drug solves is the illness, but the idea it's selling is how happy you'll be once you take the drug.

That's why they always show people on vacation and having fun. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

The role of marketing to sell the idea of happiness that the product will bring.

Usually, it's something simple like selling happiness, confidence, or fulfilling an ego-based void.

Fortunately, if you're in the market of selling explicit content, you don't need to try nearly as hard as someone selling a product with less inherent happiness.

If you think I'm wrong, try running two ads online. One for free piano lessons. The other one for free blowjobs. See which one gets more responses.

As a content creator, you're already in the business of selling something that is in high demand.

You have a head start on every other business out there because evolution has already created a large pool of potential customers. You just have to present them with a price list.

If guys can't find what they're looking for in real life, they will turn to the internet. That's where you come in.

The guy who just wants to enjoy free content will use free platforms.

The guy willing to pay for content is looking for something more than just immediate gratification.

Most importantly, the guy looking to buy your content believes he has found what he's looking for in you, specifically.

That means you need to figure out what it is he sees in you that makes him want to pay, and sell it to him as much as you can.

The role of the entrepreneur is to create the product and market it with the right idea attached to it.

Your product needs to solve a problem, be affordable, and convenient.

The basic bitch $12 dollar latte hits all three. It give your energy and taste good. Its only $12. And you can get it on your way to where every your going.

The problem is Its keeping you poor and making someone else rich.

You want to be selling the $12 latte not buying it.
